AFAB pushes for containerized port

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is eyeing to build a containerized port in the Freeport. AFAB assured the Association of International Shipping Lines (AISL) its full support for Mariveles Harbor Corporation (MHC) in developing the port in a meeting recently held at FAB Town Terminal.

The proposed state-of-the-art facility aims to significantly reduce shipping costs and improve cargo transport efficiency within the Freeport.

AFAB said it is committed to strengthen the Freeport’s appeal to investors by offering cost-effective and streamlined logistics solutions.  AISL is a key player in international shipping policies and standards.
